What is CBT

Understanding how thoughts, feelings and behaviours connect.

CBT is a talking therapy that focuses on how you manage your issues and the link between how you think, feel and act. We help you to identify your emotional responses, bodily sensations and behaviours.

CBT helps you break down overwhelming problems in a more positive way by focusing on each of the smaller parts. You're given the tools and shown how to change negative patterns to improve the way you feel.

Unlike other talking therapies, CBT focuses on the current difficulties you are experiencing — rather than dealing solely with the issues from your past — in order to improve your state of mind.
